The Bothy is situated at the Spittal of Glenshee just off the A93 between Braemar (14 miles) and Blairgowrie (19 miles), beside the entrance to The Dalmunzie Estate.

Both The Spittal Hotel and Dalmunzie House Hotel are close by for bar food and exquisite dining with the nearest shop being the Post Office and Village Shop at Bridge of Cally (13 miles)
